Over the past few weeks, many of us have spent time putting together gifts for our kids and inevitably used hand tools. In that same fashion, a number of brands are displacing the traditional "professional" tool market and its ultimate brand, Snap-on ( NYSE: SNA). McDonald's displaced the traditional restaurant business as much as email and computers displaced the need to "Xerox" or fax something. The key was, most people did not realize it yet.
